When Bear actually takes the time to listen to Dog, Dog gets his wish…and everyone has a ball! His best friend Frog is a bit ruffled at the epidemic of silliness going around, but ends up saving the day for Duck and his word ‘family’ when the truck gets stuck in the muck! Build a Word: "TRUCK" Music video: "Dancing Dog" "The Mystery of the Disappearing Pie": The pie Pig baked for Bear is missing! But have no fear…Detective Sheep is ready to help her WordFriends follow the letter clues and solve the mystery of the disappearing pie! Build a Word: "BEAR" "The Mystery of the Disappearing Pie/Duck's Family Reunion" Build a Word: "Bird" Music video: "Dancing Dog" "The Birds": Sheep, Bear and Frog go out bird watching and get more than they bargained for: They find an egg! Sheep does her zany best to care for the “energetic” egg until the baby bird is born and is reunited with its mother. But when Frog gets stranded on the moon with the Little Piggies, Frog learns that lowercase letters are just as useful as uppercase ones. "Rocket to the Moon": Frog thinks that in order to build a big rocket Frog needs big, uppercase letters. But first Sheep must learn to have confidence in herself before Sheep can save the day! Build a Word: "POT" Music video: "Dancing Dog" "Chef Sheep": During his “cooking show,” Chef Pig gets a pot stuck on his face while eating ice cream out of it! Now there is no pot to cook in and no chef to do the cooking! Luckily for Pig, ever-helpful Sheep is there to take over for him. "There's an Ant in Every Giant": Tiny ant is tired of being the smallest Word Friend in Word World! When Ant adds “GI” to his name, Ant becomes a GIANT and soon learns that being small isn’t so bad after all. "There's an Ant in Every Giant/Chef Sheep" Build a Word: "CAKE" Music video: "Dancing Dog" There’s just one problem – they need a cake! FROG must get to the party safely without Dog finding out. "Happy Birthday, Dog!": It’s Dog’s birthday and all of his friends are planning a surprise party. "Runaway O": When Sheep and Bear open Cat’s box of “O’s,” one rolls away, sending them on a madcap chase to catch it before Cat wakes up.

Other objects including clouds, water from a distance, and miscellaneous objects, such as envelopes, and buckets, are not made with letters. Sometimes an 'S' gets next to a word, and the object starts to multiply.

Most objects and places are also made of words as well, which include 'Barn', 'Log', 'Drum', 'House', 'Jungle', 'Sub', 'Boots', and 'Pie'. The series shows the adventures of a group of animals whose bodies resemble the name of their species, for example, "Dog" has a 'D' for its head and an 'O' and 'G' for its body.
